About Us – Objective

The objectives are:

1. We promote interests, fratenity and professional growth of diabetes educators/ nurses and its members.
2. We promote communication among diabetes educators / nurses and other organizations caring for people with diabetes and their families.
3. We maintain and enhance professional practice standards of diabetes care and education in Hong Kong.
4. We organize conferences, seminars or workshops both locally or globally relating to diabetes and other chronic diseases.
5. We organize and conduct surveys and studies on diabetese care and education in Hong Kong.
6. We sponsor members to attend and participate in conferences, seminars, workshops relating to diabetes care.
7. We promote the community awareness about diabetes and healthy lifestyle.
8. We advocate for better quality of care and rights for people affected by diabetes.
